Bye bye balloon!

Lukas has gotten used to asking for a balloon when we go to Ralphs (our closest grocery store). I try to get him to tie it to the stroller so he doesn't lose it, but he always refuses, and usually holds it very well, even on a ride home (about 1 mile). Today he let go of it and of course cried. He cried and cried that he wanted his balloon, but I was impressed that he didn't ask for Natalie's balloon (nicely tied on the stroller so she could play with it). At least...he didn't ask for it until we got home! But when he did ask, it wasn't with much expectance that he would get it. Nope, it's tied on her exersaucer where she can play with it when she wakes up from her nap.
