The hand

After we came back from the beach, I went to the urgent care office to have an x-ray of my right hand. Yesterday I had intense pain, and it was different from three weeks ago, so I was concerned it might have a stress fracture. The x-ray was clear...no fracture, so it must be tendonitis. The doctor gave me a wrist brace, which keeps me from bending my wrist, but also reminds me to not use the hand. I will probably have fewer and shorter posts until my hand gets better. Hopefully, with Tom carrying Natalie over the weekend, I'll recover enough by Monday to carry her. The doctor said "ibuprofen, wrist brace, and get someone else to take care of the kids." He was joking on the last part, but a little serious in his joking. Thanks for your prayers again that this heals soon...I'm going to have to take it serious that I give it several weeks to rest...and somehow do that while also taking care of two kids.
