Busy weekend

Wow, I can't believe I haven't posted since Thursday...it's been non-stop since my last post.

Friday we went to Fashion Island with Chris and Hannah and walked around in the beautiful weather. Lukas loves playing with Hannah, and she's starting to not let him take things away from her so much, so that's a good thing! That night, Tom and I started a parenting class with Carl and Carla from our church and four other couples. It's going to last 20 weeks, and we're excited about what we're going to learn and how much it's going to help us parent our two very different children.

Saturday I had a very enjoyable Ladies Luncheon at Sally's home where we talked about Christian hospitality, then I drive 1/4 mile to Tim and Kim's house for an evening with them and Dan and Katie. Lukas loved catching up with his friends Carly, Chandler and Cameron, and meeting Carly's new sister, Colette. Natalie had a lot of smiles for everyone, as usual, and managed to throw up her dinner. When we got home, Tom suggested that it might the antibiotic that has been causing her to throw up lately, so today we took her off the antibiotic (she was very nearly finished anyway). She did great in the morning, but threw up after church. I think this episode was from the cough/gag problem she has, because tonight she did great again. Tom noticed she seems to be putting her thumb in her left ear...I checked it with the otoscope, but it's hard to tell because her ear canal is small and she has ear tubes in. With Lukas, it's quite easy to tell when he has an ear infection.

Chris had loaned Natalie a Chinese New Year's outfit, and Lukas still had his from last year (also a gift...last year I had to hem the pants 6 inches and this year it fit perfectly), so they dressed up for church today. As we were getting in the car, one of our neighbors walked by, so we took pics with their daughter, also named Natalie.

At church, Hannah was wearing her New Year's outfit, so we tried to get pictures together again. We couldn't get them to pose properly, so Tom suggested Lukas put his arm around Hannah...he should have asked Hannah first, because she did not like it! But later, Lukas and Hannah were running around as usual.

Tonight we had a very enjoyable dinner at the home of John and Brenda. Kenzie entertained Lukas for hours, and Rachel and Taylor introduced us to a great new game called Apples to Apples...we are definitely going to get it!

Whew! Thank goodness tomorrow is a holiday, so Natalie doesn't have therapy and we can STAY HOME!

Oh, those outfits are too cute. Lukas looks so handsome and Natalie and Hannah look so pretty! I will have to get Alicia one of those and a traditional Korean outfit too.
