We have entered the "why" stage. With Lukas' extreme vocabulary, it would have seemed that we would enter this stage sooner, in fact 6 months ago I thought to myself, "Wow, I must have passed the 'why' stage without ever entering it." Nope, we've been in it for about two weeks now.
Today Lukas asked, "Why did God make toilet paper?"
I replied, "God didn't make toilet paper, man made toilet paper."
Lukas, "Why did man make toilet paper?" (of course!)
Me, "To wipe our butts."
Lukas, "Why do we need to wipe our butts?"
Me, "You know, Lukas, when you don't wipe your butt, it gets sore."
Lukas, "Why does my butt get sore?"
And on, and on....
