Tonight while I was feeding Natalie, Lukas played in the backyard. I have the kitchen window open so I can hear if he falls and screams. He yelled, "Mommy!" I responded and he said, "Make the crickets stop chirping!" I told him I couldn't do that. He said, "I don't want to play with the crickets chirping!" He eventually came in...I guess he didn't like being alone with the crickets in the backyard.
Tom, did you tell Lukas that crickets "chirp"?

"Chirping" Why, yes I did teach him that crickets chirp. But I didn't teach him that they are annoying. I don't know where he got that from.
