Natalie had her pulmonology check up yesterday and everything went well. I was a little nervous about taking her because she is just getting over a cold. Since her 2-week stay in the hospital last Feb/March and the subsequent over-reaction by the pulmonology department (sending her home on 1 litre of oxygen, instead of the 1/8 litre she had been using at the hospital), I am always nervous about putting her in front of a pulmonologist in less than perfect health.
Her oxygen sats were 97, which is fine. She weighed 19 pounds, 14 ounces and was 28 3/4 inches. Still haven't reached that 20 pound mark!
I was hoping we could eliminate breathing treatments during the summer, but the doctor recommended keeping them since she has a 3-year old brother. He said that a cold is 40 percent less likely to turn into an ER visit if she keeps up the breathing treatments.
BTW, Hechung, I asked for a sign like you got for Alicia, "wash your hands before you touch mine," but I guess Natalie doesn't rate because she's not a preemie!

A good friend of mine who had a preemie didn't get one either. The website, www.mytinyhands.com, makes them but as handy/crafty as you are I'm sure you can make one :)
