Pig latin

Tom's at deacon's tonight so he missed out on a precious moment. As I was feeding Natalie and trying to keep Lukas occupied (he had already finished dinner and was waiting for me to bring the fruit course), I started reciting the Lord's Prayer. Lukas can recite the Lord's Prayer, but tonight when he decided to recite it, he made every word start with "k"...at least, the first time he recited it, he started with "k"...the next time, he started every word with "g".

Natalie's swallowing therapist is a speech therapist and when she observed Lukas playing with words like this, she commented that it is a kindergarten skill. I just know that it's going to get him or us in trouble sometime. He happens upon foul words while doing this, which we don't pay attention to, but one of these days he's going to happen upon foul words in a public venue and really embarrass us. He won't be embarrassed...he'll just laugh along with everyone! So if you hear him doing it, please don't think we're teaching him those kinds of words!
