Self-feeding

Here is Natalie during her OT session at home today. The OT works on fine motor skills like writing and picking things up, and some on gross motor skills since Natalie has just started crawling. Then the second half of the session, she works on feeding, and here Natalie is putting a spoonful of yogurt in her mouth, after having scooped it up by herself! The OT started with supporting her hands, then supporting her elbows, and then took supports away and Natalie did it alone! She still reverts back to bad form so it will take a lot of practice, but she definitely has the desire to feed herself.
