I think I can say that with certainty that Lukas is now firmly on the road to reading. The past week he has made tremendous strides in decoding, and is remembering and improving from one day to the next. The best part is that he really WANTS to learn. He asks to "practice sounds" and he doesn't want to stop once we start. Now it is my responsibility to make sure we make time for it every day.
