Hearing test

It's Friday, so it must be time for another Natalie appointment (this is the third Friday in a row she's had a medical appointment).

Today she had her hearing tested, just to make sure ear tubes are still necessary. Both her tubes are out of her eardrums (they're still sitting in her ear canal, which may be why she digs in her ears sometimes). Sure enough, her hearing is slightly worse than it was right after she had tubes placed, but not as bad as it was before she had tubes. It's interesting how the audiologist can also tell that one of Natalie's eustachian tubes is inflamed. She said it would be cleared up when the tubes are re-placed.

We're waiting for Natalie's ENT and ophthalmologist to get together on a date to check her eye pressure and reinsert the tubes at the same time. It should happen soon, I hope. I feel like her language has regressed in the past month or so, and I've attributed it to her tubes, but it could be she just doesn't feel like talking!
