...Natalie likes corn on the cob!
She loves corn, and I thought it was time to try her with corn on the cob. I have to admit, when I put the corn cob with its holders on her plate and she picked it up and put it to her mouth, I thought, "What was I thinking? She won't be able to bite into it!"
But she was able to bite into it, and she did! She ate about half the corn cob you see here, then I cut the corn off the other side and she ate it with a spoon.
It's been over a week now since we switched her to a booster seat from the high chair and we can really tell that she likes it. We are working on her not pushing the chair away from the table (it slides easily on our wood floors) because she seems to be more impatient to get down when she's finished eating than when she was in the highchair with a tray.
She really seems like such a big girl in her chair, actually sitting at the table. It's a little harder to "spot" her while she's eating at the table, since we can't face her head on like we did with the high chair, but we're getting the hang of it.
Go Natalie!

Austin sits in a booster at the table and still pushes away from the table, even if he isn't done eating! He uses his hands to push as far as he can and then he puts his feet on the table to push even further...precious isn't it. LOL
