It must be fall...

...because the leaves are falling! There aren't a lot of leaves yet, and the leaves on our trees are very small (the better to vacuum them up while mowing the lawn!) but there is definitely a something special in the air that is falling leaves.

During our afternoon playtime, Lukas grabbed the broom and started brooming up the leaves on the driveway. (In the interest of full disclosure, I made this pile of leaves with a broom, and he then pushed the leaves into the dust pan and put them in the trash.) It's fun that he likes to do yardwork...we can't wait for him to be good at it!
