Konrad went in for his 9-month checkup today. Here are the stats: 30 1/4 inches long and 22 pounds, 12 ounces; 95th and 85th percentiles, respectively. His pediatrician's comment was, "He's finally back on the chart!" Lukas was exactly the same height and 4 ounces less at 9 months.I was lucky to capture Konrad's new favorite pastime in this photo: blowing raspberries. You've read how he used to do this when he was learning to eat solid food. Now, he basically does it all. the. time. He also threw in a few pteradactyl shrieks for the pediatrician, just to show her how high he can scream.
After the doctor appointment, we visited our friend Hechung, who is on bedrest with her second child, Samuel. Hechung looks great and has now made it to 30 weeks, and we're praying she makes it until at least 37 weeks before Samuel shows his beautiful face. Konrad is excited to meet Samuel, but he can wait!
