Today Lukas gave me a kiss on the cheek, then tried to kiss me on the lips. I said, "No thanks, I'll take a kiss on the cheek. Only Daddy kisses me on the lips." He gave me another kiss on the cheek.Then I followed up, "Lukas, you will kiss your wife on the lips, but only Daddy kisses me on the lips because I am his wife."
Lukas said, "But I want to marry you!"
I said, "I can't marry you, Lukas, because I'm married to Daddy, and I can only be married to one man. But you'll meet a nice woman and marry her."
Lukas replied, "No! I don't ever want to live anywhere but here in this house with you."
Me: "Ok, Lukas, you can say that now, but I don't think you'll say that in a few years!"

It must be the age! Ava is all about pointing out when people kiss on the lips. About once a day she tells me she is going to live with me forever and always wants to live in the house we are currently in. AND she told John she was going to marry him and when he answered "you can't, I am married to mom" she cried for about an hour! Her new thing is pointing out when people look like they are "falling in love". Hugging, kissing, holding hands, dancing, etc.
Oh so sweet.. You will have to remind him of this in a few years..
