Cindy picked up some cute purple fuzzy socks for Natalie to wear at night. Last night I put the socks on Natalie and they stayed on for 15.65 seconds. I put them on a second time and she beat her first time by 2 seconds. OK, so she doesn't want to wear them when she is awake.
On my usual rounds before bed I checked in on Natalie and slipped the socks on her feet. When I woke up this morning she was still asleep but not wearing the socks. Hmmmm?!? I was not about to give up.
While Natalie was highly distracted watching TV this morning, I placed them on her feet. I was not able to get an official time of how long she wore them because she never had two socks on at the same time. It was like putting hand cuffs on Houdini. So I gave up and playfully put them on her hands. Natalie's eyes lit up and she looked at her new "Cookie Monster" hands. She wore them for at least ten minutes and I only took them off because she stuck her hand in an almost empty oatmeal bowl.

Natalie,
You have some quick hands. First time around, 15.65 seconds. I can barely take my socks off in 20 seconds. Way to go Natalie. Second time is even better. That is pretty impressive. Keep it up and beat your father for me every time. :)
Hey Tom. Maybe you could reason with her to keep them on. Make some sort of deal. It may work or it may not.
Have a Merry Christmas Happy Ones.
