What a crazy day!

Out the door at 8 a.m. for Natalie's 8:30 therapy.

Run to Wal-Mart during her therapy.

Pick Natalie up at 9:30 (since she doesn't have speech therapy at the clinic any more, she's only there 1 hour for physical therapy).

Drive to Lukas' swimming lesson, 15 minutes away, which starts at 9:45. Fifteen minutes allows for the drive, but doesn't allow for getting three kids out of the car and walking all the way back to the pool.

Swimming instructor didn't show today, and the substitute instructor is running behind. We still have to leave in 30 minutes! The other instructor works with Lukas until the sub is caught up and can work with him. Drive away at 10:25 a.m.

Arrive home at 10:40 (Natalie's bus arrives at 11). The bus pulls up right after we arrive. What! I need 10 minutes to give Natalie an abbreviated lunch before she goes to school (they only have a snack during her time). The bus driver (a sub) says he's supposed to be there at 10:50...he's early.

Ok! Natalie has a small snack and we board the bus a little after 10:50. She drives away at 10:55.

I thought Friday was tiring...today was worse! But the good news is that today was Lukas' last swimming lesson with this schedule. Next year, he and Natalie will be swimming on Wednesdays, when Natalie doesn't have school.

And the other good news is that Natalie didn't fall asleep on the way home today, so I got a cute picture of her getting off the bus. But she did fall asleep within one minute of putting her in the crib. I'm trying to stretch Konrad out by postponing his nap 10 minutes more each day, until he's napping at the same time as Natalie...so far, slow going!

Poor Konrad! He's the one who suffered the most today. Only a 10-minute morning nap on the way to swimming, then he was awakened by Natalie's crying in the crib when she went down for a nap. Soon, all will be better.

Wow Cindy, I am not sure how you made it through the day! I hope that you all settle into a routine soon!

As for Natalie on the school bus, I love it!! She looks so happy and proud of herself! I can't believe that she is riding a school bus and going to school!! Time flies!

At least I realized a few weeks ago that we wouldn't be able to keep swimming on Mondays because of Natalie's new schedule! On paper, everything CAN be done, but with kids, it's too much rushing.

Natalie looks so proud getting off the bus! What does Lucas think of Natalie riding the bus?
