...we only have washable markers in our house (except the Sharpies that are kept away from the kids). Why do they make kid's markers (with fun cartoons on the outside) that aren't washable? We've received a few of those as gifts/party favors and they immediately go in the trash. Lukas had a set he loved, but after I tested the marker on the bottom of our table, and he saw that it doesn't completely wash off, he agreed they had to go.
Natalie got into these markers unsupervised ...and made marks on her hands, mouth, shirt, pants, table, floor...but Lukas can make a mess even when he's not trying!

So cute. Your Valentines day breakfast looks yummy
Oh yeah, I'm with you... but beware even some that say they are washable aren't so always test them first. We got some "washable" paints given to us and they ruined my sweater ( I accidently got some on me setting the paint up for Alyssa. They immediately went into the garbage.
Does Natalie like to draw? I can't seem to get Nathan interested in anything like that. When did she start drawing?
We started working with her on holding a crayon when she was about two. Natalie is starting to like scribbling more...she likes to copy what she sees others doing, so she tries to copy Lukas, and I think being at school gives her more kids to copy. But I wouldn't say that she likes to draw...she can only sustain scribbling for a few minutes. But give her a marker, and she'll draw all over herself!
