Maybe it's the sunscreen, or just being a kid, but boy, does sand stick to them! It doesn't help things when Lukas rolls in the sand (think somersault) and Natalie slides her body into the sand (think sliding into home plate) with her mouth open AND Konrad drops his food and cup in the sand and wails when I take them away from him because they're too sandy for human consumption! I can't give an award to any of them, because each one was more sandy than the last.
It was a beautiful sunny day at our home...perfect beach weather, one would think, until we got to the beach, where the clouds kept the temperature quite cool for
over an hour. A weekday visit to the beach with our three kids where we actually play in the sand is nearly impossible with only one adult, so we only went because Kathrin is here (I suppose we might survive a beach outing with only one adult, but it wouldn't be a happy event).The last time we went to the beach, Konrad wasn't walking yet, so this was a fun experience for him...I think he forgot what happens at the beach! Natalie and Lukas had a blast playing in
the surf, but Konrad didn't want anything to do with the water...it was too cold!

Well, as far as a food group, I'm not sure how to help you there. Maybe some kind of fiber :)
It's been to humid to go the beach here. Looks beautiful there.. Can't wait for a non humid day.

Natalie is adorable, so are the boys, but something about that girl!!!!
