I don't know about your kids, but Lukas has an incredible memory. We went to a park over a year ago, and he hasn't stopped talking about going back to it since (it's not near our home, and someone has been sick on previous times we've intended to return, which is why it's taken so long).
We finally made a playdate with Russell and Gwendy to visit Dinosaur Park, and Lukas has been beside himself for weeks. Usually I don't tell him about special events until the day before, or the day of, the event. But he had been asking, "When are we going to ask Russell's mommy to go to Dinosaur Park" for months, and finally I let it slip after Ann Marie and I made the date.
It was great to see how much he enjoys the park as a bigger kid. Natalie and Konrad loved it too...lots of places to explore and lots of things to climb on. The drizzle that fell just as we arrived made everything a little slippery, but thankfully there were no serious falls (I was only worried about Natalie and Konrad falling). And Gwendy and Natalie showed that they know how to play with trucks too!
