While she was in the hospital recovering from the surgery, she was hooked up to a pulse oximeter, so I a little aggressively used the opportunity to document that she didn't need supplemental oxygen since she wasn't aspirating because she wasn't eating by mouth any more (NOT doing this in the hospital would have meant MANY trips to the doctor to slowly decrease the amount of oxygen over time).
So the nasal cannulas AND the ng-tube came off her face at the same time.
