The Day After

We had a wonderful Christmas and hope yours was as special.  Here are a few pictures from the memorable day.

Christmas breakfast was cinnamon rolls, pineapple and hot chocolate.  Konrad loves pineapple but didn't touch his cinnamon rolls for a long time...

...while Natalie couldn't get enough cinnamon roll and wouldn't touch her pineapple.  They both just smelled the hot chocolate from their mugs (I guess I put too little in the bottom and it was too hard to drink from the mugs).

Tom reveling in the kids' gift to him: a set of Gary Cooper movies.

I love Konrad's expression over the new books Natalie got.

I think know Lukas loves his new toilet!

All three opening their new duvet covers.

Lukas reading a clue for the treasure hunt to the "real" Christmas presents
(the "really big" Christmas presents).

Lukas figured out all the clues in the treasure hunt.  The last clue was:  "What's big and gray and has a trunk?  It's not an elephant!"  Lukas, standing next to our tree, guessed, "A tree!"  Thankfully he was also standing near Tom's van so Tom could say, "It's something else big and gray that you're standing next to!"

Watching the new Signing Time DVDs that Natalie got.

Cindy with the rib roast (covered with a seasoning crust) before it goes in the oven.

 Grandpa with Natalie and Lukas.

Grandma with Konrad.

Pictures of the assembled beds soon!
