32 Weeks

Yesterday was a busy day!  It started with me being teacher's assistant at Lukas' school, which is always fun (after I find a babysitter who will come in the wee hours of the morning!)  I love helping Lukas' class, and also helping in the class that he'll be in next year.  And it's a wonderful time for him to play with older kids during recess--they're such a great example to him.

In the afternoon I had my 32-week check up.  The baby is growing well (which means my belly is growing well!) and the heartbeat sounds good.  The best news is that he is now "head down" for the first time...it doesn't mean he won't move again, but I'm glad he's in the position now and hopefully he'll come to prefer it!

Since I had a little more time before meeting Tom for dinner, I went for a pedicure (since it's really hard to reach my toes now).  That felt good!  We went out for dinner, did a little clothes shopping for him, and came home in time to crash in front of the TV, where I promptly fell asleep for more than an hour before Tom woke me to go to bed.

I was really exhausted after that day!  Thankfully it's my last TA day this year, so I completed that before the baby came.  Now I'm just filling out forms for hospital pre-admission.  It's getting closer (next month!) but I still have to be mentally prepared that this might be my first pregnancy to "go long"...Lukas and Konrad only went 38 weeks and Natalie went 37 weeks, so anything past 39 weeks is long for me.  The doctor said he's measuring normal-to-small (while Konrad measured large), so he might "go long"...  Only time will tell.

so exciting!!! Are you gonna share some pictures of that beautiful belly? What's your guess on the date- do you have a gut feeling?

I'm with Jessica - I can't believe you are 32 weeks already! Time flies when it's not your own toes you cannot see...

All the best.

I'm so very happy for you! Little boys are a blessing. I just had twins almost 5 months ago and already have fond memories.
