Laughing

With the beginning of the new year, I had to fill out new forms at CHOC (I guess last year's weren't valid any more). One of the questions on the form is "what is your child's favorite activity?" I don't remember what I filled in last year for Natalie, but it was probably "sleeping."

This year, it is definitely "Playing with her brother." Natalie loves to play with Lukas, and thankfully he enjoys playing with her. Their most frequent game is Lukas hiding behind her highchair and popping out on one side or the other to "scare" her. She laughs and giggles so hard at this. I will try to post a video of it...it's quite precious. This morning Lukas was playing with his Thomas engines while watching Thomas on TV, and Natalie was playing next to him, trying to reach the engines. Pretty soon they were laughing and giggling together. Lukas is learning to be gentle with her, but he still needs supervision to make sure he doesn't overpower her (unintentionally).
