Here's a pic of Lukas this morning after Tom took the bandaid off. Not as black and blue as I thought it would be after I saw the size of the welt immediately after his fall (it's also been almost two days.)

On Wednesday I tried to get him to put a cold pack on his face, and he wouldn't do it. He loves to play with the hard cold packs we put in our lunch boxes, putting them against his face and belly, but when it's necessary to use a cold pack because of an injury, he's having none of it. I even gave him one of those soft gel packs with a cloth cover and he said it was too cold. I tried calling it a "cool" pack instead of a "cold" pack, but he didn't fall for that one.
