Slave Labor
Tom and I are slowly realizing that the time of doing everything for our children could slowly transition to them doing a lot for us. Lukas has already taken on quite a few chores, which he does with complete joy, and asks for more tasks to do. He helps Tom take out the trash every week (collects all the trash cans in the house, takes them to the big trash cans outside, and "helps" Tom wheel them to the curb). Lukas has been setting the table for about a week, and he also loves to transfer the wet laundry from the washer to the dryer. Here's a pic of him making his own sandwich for lunch today. Soon I won't have to do anything around the house...I'll just be able to take hot baths and read books! Well, maybe in another 10 years or so.

Thank you so much for creating this wonderful blog. It is wonderful to see all the neat and creative things that Natalie and Lukas are doing. All the best.
