I love boring days! No throwing up, no coughing, everybody healthy. Natalie's physical therapist was impressed with her improvement since last week. I think sleeping on her belly has really made a difference. She still wakes up at least once during the night, which wakes me up to check on her, but I guess I'll keep her on her belly since it's helping her so much physically and hope we all sleep through the night again soon.
We'd appreciate your prayers that Natalie will accept some sort of sippy cup soon. That's basically what's holding her back from drinking at home. For home use, off the e-stim therapy, she needs to have the small, measured amount that comes from a sippy cup. At therapy, she can actually drink from an open cup, but that requires a lot of monitoring, and at home it might not work as well because she's not strong at drinking liquids.
She's used several sippy cups, but what usually happens is she accepts it for a couple days, then decides she just wants to chew on it. So the therapist moves to another kind of cup, and Natalie uses that for a couple days and then doesn't drink from it. Go Natalie go!
