So today Natalie started using the sippy cup without any cuts in the valve. Whoo hoo! We just had to teach her to suck (and that it wouldn't come pouring out like it would with the valve in backwards), and she took right to it. Thanks so much to Christina, Natalie's OT, for coming up with the solution.
In a couple days I'll start weaning her off the Pediasure. Right now, I'm mixing 3 ounces Pediasure to 5 ounces milk, and she takes 3 or so ounces at a meal. I think I'll decrease the Pediasure 1/2 ounce at a time and see how it goes.
