After a wonderful service at church, we went to Aunt Leanne and Uncle George's place for a family meal. Natalie enjoyed being passed around to all the aunties who hadn't seen her in a while (she's grown, according to the comments!) Here she is with Aunt Patrice and Aunt Carla (Carla is from Brazil so she likes Lukas and Natalie to call her "Tia"...pronounced "Chia"). I took the food mill along so Natalie enjoyed turkey, potato salad, corn and fruit salad. She also got a few nibbles from Lukas' chocolate bunny.
Lukas' second cousin, Jewelee, did a great job of keeping him out of trouble. She decorated eggs for an egg hunt. Cousin Ben hid the eggs...plastic eggs with candies in the backyard and hardboiled eggs in the front yard. After finding the eggs in the backyard and remembering from last Easter what's inside, he was disappointed that the eggs in the frontyard didn't have candy inside. He picked them up, shook them, and put them back down. Tom had to convince him to put them in his basket. On the right is how he is lately posing for pictures: with a scrunchy face. On the left he is with Jewelee and their haul, and below is Tom helping him peel chocolate from one of the candies. Yes, we let him eat the chocolate bunny and some M&Ms, even though they "may contain peanuts." We have a good chance of not having a reaction (i.e., having no candy that came in contact with peanuts at the processing plant), but we watch him very closely.
