Frozen hopes

Tom mentioned a few days that he didn't think we were getting any avocadoes fruiting. Today I counted five, and here's a picture of one baby. It's very disappointing because this is the year we're supposed to get fruit (the tree fruits every other year), but with the freeze we had in January and a windy spell in the past few weeks, the flowers may not have survived or been pollenated. I still see a few flowers left, so hopefully they will fruit, but the vast majority have already fallen off with no fruit.
