Evening constitutional

One of Daddy’s rituals with Natalie is to give her an evening dose of prune juice (in her tube) to hydrate her and to give her some extra fiber. I’ve been doing this with her for almost a year. Most evenings around 9:45 I roll her over and hook her up. She stirs a little, but usually stays asleep. I slowly give her four ounces of juice and then tuck her in for the remainder of her night’s sleep. If I am lucky, she wakes up and gives me a big smile and coos at me. If she wakes, it is always with a smile. I talk to her quietly (Lukas is in the same room) and put my head down into the crib and let her grab my hair. I love my special time with her.
