Dry!

Nope, not the dry you're thinking of.

Yesterday at CHOC, Natalie was the driest she's been during therapy in a long time. When I say dry, I'm talking about dry in her throat and nose. Often when she swallows thin liquids, she sounds wet in her voice and breathing, which means she may be storing liquids where she shouldn't, or aspirating.

This was a very encouraging breakthrough, and we pray that she continues to swallow well in therapy, which will lead to swallowing better without therapy.
