Grandma Alma, 1932-2007

My mom, Alma, passed away quietly on Thursday, at the age of 74. It was quite a surprise to us, since she was active and busy and hadn't complained of any pain. We are comforted to know that she is with the Lord and that her eternity is secure, but we miss her here and know that we will continue to miss her. The picture above is of her with me when I was about 5 months old.

We will be traveling to Texas for the funeral next week and look forward to seeing my siblings there and hopefully some of the people I knew when I lived there.

Here are a few pictures of her, with a small part of her legacy (5 children and 8 [almost 9] grandchildren).

Cindy, I'm so sorry for your family's loss. I can only imagine the heartache you must all feel. You are all in my thoughts.

Praise God that your mom is with Jesus now. Thank you for sharing these lovely photos with us. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
