This morning Lukas asked me if Tom was staying home today. I said, no, he has two more days of work, then he'll stay home on Friday (Tom has every other Friday off). Then Lukas said, "Then we move into our new bedroom!" So that's what Lukas was really interested in!
Tom and I have set this Friday as the date to move the kids into their new bedroom. We still have some decorating to do tonight, there is still some of our stuff in their closet, we really need to get the toys organized (after our stuff comes out of the closet), and we'll move Natalie's crib in on Friday morning.
Lukas' new sheets, blanket and comforter have all arrived and been washed, so later this morning he said, "Do we move into the new room this day or next day?" I said, "The day after tomorrow." It may still be too far ahead for him to understand, but he knows it's soon!
We'll post pictures of the new room when we're done.
