Ok, raise your hands: how many people are checking this blog on a regular basis to see if I've gone into labor yet? I think that if I have the chance, I will post here when we go to the hospital...but no promises because something (a fast labor) could always keep me from posting.
Today was a much better today for me: Natalie had therapy at home in the morning, then we went to Bible Study, where other people watched my children for an hour and a half :) and then we came home for naps. I slept about an hour, then Natalie had another in-home therapy session. It is such a blessing that so much of her therapy can be at home: her PT told me today that they've already re-scheduled her to come in-home for the whole month of December in anticipation of the baby arriving. The only downside is that Natalie won't see her speech therapist during that time, but she will continue to get 3.5 hours per week of PT and OT, without me having to pack up the kids and drive somewhere.
The baby is still rolling around inside a lot, and I've had a couple of minor twinges, but no contractions to speak of in about two weeks. I've found that if I lie down after dinner, I will have contractions, but if I just recline, upright, on the couch, there won't be any contractions...so I'm not lying down any more after dinner!
So tomorrow we're "in the window" of my previous pregnancies: I think if the baby were born tomorrow, it would be the same number of days early that Natalie was. Tomorrow is also my mom's birthday, which would be a cool irony, but we're still hoping to make it to December!
