Here's something I blogged about earlier this year that is relevant to the season, so I post it again below and wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
...have you ever stopped to think of what it was like to be the mother of two-year-old Jesus? He was sinless, so he always came when he was called, he never talked back, he obeyed everything Mary said. Wow! I can imagine Mary chatting with the other moms in Bethlehem. One is talking about how her daughter always does this, and what a challenge it is, and another mom is talking about her son and how he never does that, and what a challenge it is. And there is Mary, knowing she has the PERFECT child, because he responds instantly to her voice, he is never grouchy, he never yells or throws things, he always tells the truth, he's always pleasant, and he always does what she says right away. How easy is this, she thinks, I NEVER have to discipline my son! And then she has her second child, and that's when she knows, beyond a shadow of a doubt--if she ever had any doubt--that her son Jesus is God.

Jesus wasn't the perfect son-- he was God made man on earth. That means he was human on earth-- not perfect. I don't believe that he was the PERFECT child as you describe.
Hmmm...didn't expect to get into a theological debate over this post, but I must respond, even though you left an anonymous post (further anonymous posts will be deleted).
Please note the portion I highlighted in all caps below:
Hebrews 4:14-16 (ESV) Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, YET WITHOUT SIN. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
I believe that Jesus was perfect, in every moment of his God-as-human life. If he hadn't been perfect, he wouldn't have been the perfect sacrifice for my sins.
