My friend and former co-worker Rebecca came over for lunch today. Our tradition had been to meet her at Rubios for lunch, but lunchtime is a little iffy with Konrad: he may want to eat anywhere between 11 and noon, which can be a challenge for only one parent, so Rebecca came to our house for lunch. After lunch, Lukas had fun showing her his "ball-game" which is anything he constructs to make a ball roll down (similar to a "marble-game" like MarbleWorks, Lukas' favorite toy).
Since Natalie is going to therapy at the clinic twice a week (instead of the therapists coming to our house), we're cutting back on other activities outside the house...but we're looking forward to inviting more people over for lunch. I had thought my days of clinic visits were over when Natalie stopped e-stim at CHOC, but we'll probably keep this new schedule until December, when she turns three and her therapy will be through the school district instead of the early-intervention program through the Regional Center. The whole therapy transition to the school district is something I need to look into now, so it doesn't sneak up on us, and so we can make sure we make the best choices for Natalie.
