Surprise!

Today we surprised Tom at work with a delivery of oatmeal raisin cookies (his favorite). Lukas helped make them during Natalie and Konrad's naps, then he drew on the back of this valentine while the cookies baked. It was fun to surprise Tom, and this time Konrad was awake to meet some of Tom's coworkers.

Here's a pic Tom took of the valentine on his "holiday turf". Everyone at work decorates their work area for the holidays, and during the Christmas season he got a sample of fake grass from a vendor, hung it on the wall and stuck an ornament in it. Now he can show his holiday cheer during all the holidays of the year by simply sticking something on his holiday turf.

Apparently he has a cult following at work with his holiday turf. We're going to patent the idea and sell it to the makers of the Chia Pet. You heard it here first.
