...even though it was 81 degrees this morning at 8:30 before we left for church!This afternoon, it was 96 degrees and 11 percent humidity, so we pulled out the Slip N Slide again and Lukas and Natalie had fun in the water for an hour. That's me in the background, holding a chew toy for Konrad. The kid is frantic to relieve his teething pain!
Then we went to Tom's parents' house to celebrate Mom's real birthday (we celebrated it early last month at Easter when the maximum number of people could attend). She looks great! And the kids loved playing with her and Dad. I have to say I was nervous about Lukas sitting on her lap, for fear he would break something, but we haven't gotten a phone call yet, so I guess she's ok. :) Happy Birthday, again, Mom!
I can stand one or two days of this heat...then our house will heat up and it will be a constant battle of the air conditioner. But maybe the heat wave will only last a few days! We can hope!

11% humidity! Sorry, had to laugh. LOL We have 80% here in NY in the summer...now if only summer would appear...
