Here we go again!

Today Natalie bent her glasses frame again. In the past, she used her glasses for bicep curls when she was bored in the car, but today she did it in the living room. I only left the room for a minute and came back to this!

I had high hopes that Natalie wouldn't bend these new frames...but why would I think that? I never really see it happen, so I don't completely understand the circumstances where it happens (as opposed to those times when she takes her glasses off but doesn't bend them).

Sometimes I wonder if one spare pair of glasses is enough...sort of like my cousins Rachel and Cal, who took an Alaskan road to somewhere with only one spare tire, when they were advised to take two. But at least it's easier to get Natalie's glasses fixed in Orange County than to get a spare tire fixed on that treacherous Alaskan road. I just fear that now that Natalie has bent the hinge in the special way that only Natalie can bend it, it will be weakened and bend very easily.

I'm sorry! I can only imagine having a little one so small with glasses ... it seems inevitable that would happen.

I started wearing glasses when I was two as well. They were pink much like Natalie's :) And I am sure I did my share of destroying them as well...lol:) Your daughter is adorable.

Thanks for stopping by Five in The Potter's Hand :)
