Tom read "The Ox Cart Man" as the bedtime story tonight. Once again, Tom changed the story (about a colonial man who walks several days with his ox cart to take everything his family has made in the past year to market), so instead of "He sold the bag of wool. He sold the shawl his wife made...", Tom said, "He sold his computer. He sold his vacuum cleaner."
Lukas said, "No, no, no! He didn't sell his computer or his vacuum cleaner!"
Tom: "He didn't have a computer?"
Lukas: "No, he had a computer, but he didn't sell it."
Tom: "No, he didn't have a computer. Back then, they didn't have computers."
Lukas, looking blankly at Tom: "But how did they look up anything online?"
