It has been a while since we've had a playdate with friends, and Lukas has missed seeing his friends a lot (we didn't go to our own church last week due to the fires in Orange County, one of which threatened our church building).
Today, Russell and Gwendy came over to play, and we all had a lot of fun. A sure-fire way to ensure the success of a playdate is to buy a freezer the night before. The freezer is not that interesting, but the BOX it comes in is invaluable...it can be a fort, a ship, a bunker...so many things!
Here are a few pictures from a portion of the day...I took pictures for about 10 minutes during the several hours they were here. It was fun to just relax and watch the kids make their own
