Smart girl!

We've been on the "therapy homework" craze the past few weeks, since Natalie's PT emphasized that she needs to do 1 hour of belly time every day. This is not an easy task, since it has to be when Konrad is asleep, or when Tom is home and can take Konrad, because Konrad always wants to join in the fun, and THAT doesn't work! Natalie doesn't have a problem doing the time...it's just finding the time to do it.

I am NOT stressing about not achieving the 1 hour goal every day, but I do try to do as much as possible. The other challenge, as I've mentioned, is finding things for Natalie to do on her belly. She doesn't seem to tire of doing the same four puzzles over and over, and now that she's been doing the alphabet puzzle for a couple weeks, she knows it really well and knows where all the pieces go!

Here's a sample. She can put all the pieces in, in about 4 minutes (this video is NOT 4 minutes long).

Your tummy time has encouraged us to do more. AnnaKate really likes to do it especially when we are working puzzles. I can even tell her, "Lay back down on your tummy" and she will! :)
She loves shape puzzles. When need to try the alphabet.

Hi Cindy, Why is tummy time important? We have never worked on tummy time since Max was a baby and our PT never mentioned it to us. Max is never on his tummy!

Natalie does great with the puzzle! She knows exactly where each piece goes!
