...although if we had waited much later, it wouldn't have happened. Christmas lights on our house, that is.
I've already talked about how I planned a little late to get everything done in a timely fashion for Christmas (and this year brought some unique extended family needs). We didn't get lights up before Thanksgiving; Thanksgiving weekend, we were away; the next weekend was the double birthday party, when we "planned" to put up lights after the party, but ended up being too tired to do it; so this weekend was THE weekend to do it.
Lukas was very excited about the prospect of going on the roof to help for the first time. He did pretty well, but eventually had to come down because he kept moving around when we told him to sit still. (Tom and Lukas got their hair cut in the afternoon, and the barber told the story of another client of his stapling his boy [his pants, I think!] to the roof to keep him from moving around...not a bad idea!)
Natalie had fun drumming, and Konrad was napping. I put the clips on the lights, and even though this is the seventh Christmas I've done this, I still can't get them on the right direction (Tom always has to correct me!)
