Natalie had her pre-op appointment with the ENT on Wednesday. Thankfully, I insisted he check her ears to make sure the tubes were in place...because he wasn't going to, and because they were both out. So, in addition to taking her adenoids out, he'll put in new ear tubes (is she not obeying me because she doesn't hear me, or because of the selective hearing of a 3-year old?...I think it's the latter, but let's have the tubes anyway.)
The nurse suggested we complete the registration right after the doctor's visit, but when I went down to register, the wait to register was 25 minutes, so I went home. The next day, they called me to register, and I did everything OVER THE PHONE. Much more fun than having to entertain three children after already keeping them in check during a doctor's visit!
The ophthalmologist will go first, to check the pressure in her eyes, then the ENT.
We really appreciate your prayers that the surgery goes successfully, and that her recovery is quick and complete. She checks in on Monday at 5:30 a.m., and the surgery starts at 7 a.m., PST.
