My sister Rose and her husband Gary live in the Sierra Nevada mountains, so that's one of our favorite vacation destinations. Here's a picture from right before we came home that Tom captured with the timer on his camera...how great is that, that everyone is looking at the camera, and with a timer?!?!?!So what we did for the second, longer part of our vacation was: a lot of play, a lot of hiking, some splashing in the water, and sitting around at night talking.
Today I'll show some of the play and sitting around talking that happened around Rose and Gary's home. I had to include a picture of Lukas giving Natalie the ball that the three kids were playing with...it was the nicest he's played with his siblings in a while, so we need to document it! And Lukas talked for several days after about how much fun he had playing "chase the ball" with Natalie and Konrad.
Natalie and Konrad got several more "twins?" comments on this trip, and they're really starting to play (and fight!) like twins more and more...the good and the bad!

What a neat thing to have on a camera--a timer to get everyone in the picture. I always enjoy seeing the pictures of your dear family! :)
