Natalie's Surgery

This morning Cindy took Natalie to the hospital to have her stoma (the hole left in her tummy from the feeding tube) surgically closed. Everything went great! While the doctors had Natalie under anesthesia they checked her ear tubes (A-OK), her eye pressure (still high, but stable) and her oil (down a quart (NOT)). After Natalie woke up they checked her into a room in the children's hospital where she will stay for at least 24 hours.

Here is a picture of Natalie waiting for her surgery. Watching TV after the surgery and playing in the play room after surgery.

I visited her tonight and she does not seem to be in any significant pain. She remains on an IV and has some strong pain reliever in her, which is obviously helping. We pray that her transition back to food and drink tomorrow goes well and she and Cindy can come home, Lord willing, by lunch.
