Here's Natalie at the Christmas party her class put on. They sang a few songs and served cookies and juice. Natalie wanted to come greet us during the performance...several times! As you'll see in this video, she was temporarily sidetracked on one occasion when Miss Becky entered the room (that's Natalie's voice screaming "Hi Miss Becky!" the most)...but eventually she did come back and say hi to us again.
The next video is just because I'm so proud of her doing her hand gestures. She generally enjoys doing hand gestures with music, but I noticed she was quite distracted by the visual elements for most of the party (Santa balloon, reindeer toys, etc) and wanted to just sit and stare and enjoy without performing. But here I captured her actually doing the gestures, and she looks great!
Lukas and Konrad sat with Natalie and her best friend from class, Ashley, during the snack portion of the party. It was funny that Natalie and Lukas ate all of the cookies offered, but Konrad didn't want sugar cookie or chocolate chip cookie. The only thing he wanted was the candy cane!
Natalie's going to miss her school friends as they go on break for two weeks, but I know she'll be ready to start again in January!
