More discoveries

Here's another picture of Natalie I didn't share in the hustle of Christmas time...it's more of a brag post, really.  It's been very challenging for Natalie to draw or color because she lacks coordination in her fingers and hands, and she has a hard time pushing down hard enough to make a mark with anything besides a marker.  She actually does pretty well for Christina, her OT, but neither her teachers nor I can replicate that performance at school or home.

Until now...

I was so proud to see her coloring this picture with crayons.  There's so much more coverage on the page than I've ever seen her do:  usually there are 3-4 scribble lines and then she quits.  I was so excited I forgot to correct her holding of the crayon...she always grabs a writing implement with a fist, but will hold it properly if we place it in her fingers for her.

Go Natalie!
