What is it?

This morning Lukas was helping Tom clean out the garage and came inside with this:  an old glove taped to a dowel rod.

His exact words were:  "We have a pointer at school (where he goes on Tuesdays) so I made a pointer for home."  Although I don't think that's exactly what his school pointer looks like, and I'm not a "pointer kind of person", I thought it was a fun creation.  Here he is pointing at the picture he copied of a skunk.

Cut to this afternoon and I found Natalie using the same implement for another purpose.

The biggest surprise to me is that she has not yet discovered that Lukas used duct tape to attach the glove to the dowel rod.  Stickers and any kind of tape are Natalie's crack:  once she finds them, she is in another world until she's rubbed the sticky off the back.
