...from an aircraft carrier.

Of course there's no baby yet!  What were you thinking?

Tom's dad flew Panthers off aircraft carriers for the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.  Lukas and Tom have loved visiting the USS Midway in San Diego and seeing how an aircraft carrier works.   Here's Lukas mimicking a carrier takeoff:

Tom and Lukas have been playing with this wind-up airplane a lot the past few days, but, much to their chagrin, it has been too windy for it to work really well.  Then Tom had the idea of setting up a table and using it as an aircraft carrier...and it worked great!
